The game was given to us by Charlotte. All three of those runs were unearned.

These are high school girls and I said it's not over until the last out.

It's nice when they pull together to help someone.

Once they decided they were going to make that change, they went to their pitching coaches and started pitching from that distance. It hasn't been a big deal pitching or offensively.

It was just one swing of the bat, and it easily could have been us. I was telling their coaches I wish it was the championship so both teams could move on.

It just shows you how funny this game is. You can not get a hit and still be in the game if your pitching and defense does well.

They're both tough as nails. I'm glad we have more than one pitcher. We don't have to rely on one arm the entire season ... and you're a little more relaxed going into each game, knowing that if one of them gets in trouble, the other is always there.

Any team that you let stick around, there's a chance they'll come back and get you. And that almost happened tonight.

Our defense is definitely our strong point. Hats off to Southeast. They hit the ball hard a few times ... That play to end the game -- that was a shot.

Courtney made some great plays for us tonight. She chased down two of them that probably prevented runs.
